A French Callot Soeurs Couture Summer dress – Art Deco Period Circa 1925

Beach dress labelled Callot Soeur, Paris, nouvelle marque déposée. Printed silk crepe (Bianchini Ferrier ?) with stylized floral motifs Art Deco in shades of blue, orange, pink, beige, yellow and blue. Pleated shawl collar knotting on one shoulder and ruffled skirt. Dress without waitsize corresponding to the women’s liberation of this period. La Maison Callot Soeur had branches in Nice, Biarritz, Le Touquet, London, St. Moritz and Buenos Aires. Golden graphic label. A few patina of the time, but no stain or holes. Very Good condition and color.

Equivalent of a French 38 size.
