Elegant dress “à la Marinière” in Navy blue woolen cloth with the famous Henry à la Pensée label, 5 Faubourg saint Honoré Paris and dating from the late 1940s. Short-sleeved coat dress with small epaulets, closed in front by four white bakelite buttons with visible bows. Elegant white applied soutache work forming comma-like waves and buttoned belt at the back. A rare collectible that is wearable today ! No visible flaws. Very Good condition of colour and conservation.

The French company Henry à la pensée was founded in 1809 and disappeared in the 1960s. After the Second World War, it became famous for its seaside branches in Biarritz, Cannes, Le Touquet, Dinard, Deauville and Tunis. Henry à la Pensée attracted some prestigious clients, including Ingrid Bergman and Françoise Dorléac, who appreciated the sporty and casual chic spirit of this famous House.
