Wool knit Art Deco bathing suit in Chanel or Patou Style- France Circa 1925

Beautiful feminine swimsuit or Art Deco swimsuit in striped wool knit dating from the years 1925/1930. In line with the avant-garde of the Ballets Russes by Serge De Diaghilev with in particular the costumes of the Train Bleu created by Gabrielle Chanel with the breathtaking cast of Nijinska, Picasso, Cocteau and Léonide Massine. Jean Patou at the same time made outdoor clothing in mesh, inaugurating sport for women. Integrated short tunic, buttoned shoulders in navy and yellow striped knit with fine red and blue stripes. No mark or defect. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
