A French Dior/Bérénice Demi Couture skirt suit Wool Tartan, French Circa 1970

Tartan plaid curly wool suit labelled Berenice which belongs to a series of Christian Dior patterns, made by this Marseilles-based House and dating from the 1970s. Fitted jacket with fringed shawl collar integrated to tie with recall on the four pockets with fringed flap. Front closure by four black plastic resin buttons. Three-quarter sleeves. Straight skirt with high waist and side zipper. Printed satin label Berenice 7 Rue du Jeune Anacharsis Marseille 1st. Lining skirt and jacket in black nylon. Finished with hand stitching. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
