Vintage Design
On offer is a stunning vintage lounge chair designed by Niko Kralj, the renowned designer and founder of Rex Kralj, and produced in Slovenia, Yugoslavia. This is a lower, lounge version of the Shell Chair. It has a dark metal frame with a seat made from smooth wooden playwood panels covered in the original faux-leather (skai). The faux-leather colour is a dark, mottled wine red. The chair has wide, smooth, wooden armrests that accentuate the fact that it is designed for relaxing.
Niko Kralj’s unique Shell Chairs are a staple of great, timeless design, comfortable to sit in and aesthetically pleasing. It is very unusual to find a chair this old in such good condition. Combined with the strong colour makes this one a keeper!
