Delightful Cashmere or Paisley woven wool scarf of British origin, dating from the Victorian period. Spectacular Saffron-orange color with boteh on both ends, neo-Gothic style borders with tapered bangs. Very fine cut-throw weave with period sewn label mentioning English provenance (illegible). Note five or six tiny moth holes that are difficult to see and do not call into question the stability of this scarf. No other defects or stains. Beautiful condition and flamboyant color! Wearable today.
