Elegant vest with basques in cream gros de Tours embroidered with silver and polychrome silk threads dating from the Louis XVI period. Embroidery with design of tricolored ribbons on the perimeter dotted with leafy stems, herbs and small pineapples (?). Cut crew neck without collar with small open basques and two pockets with crenellated flaps. Original back in wool pilou and cotton ecru. Cream cotton lining (small dirt). Complete with its eleven buttons and buttonholes. Three spots the size of a needle head, no rings under the arms. Silk stable and fresh. Exceptional condition of color and conservation for this period.
Dimensions: modeled on size 36 France. Front height 64 cm, Waist 79 cm. Chest 86 cm.
