A Caraco, a women’s jacket in scarlet wool felt with gold embroidery. Fitted at the waist, with long sleeves and a large heart-shaped neckline. Beautiful embroidery of braids and applied gold cords highlighting the bust with double cross front fastenings using period hooks. Elegant cut on the sleeves ending in mittens which are closed by twelve tassels of gilded trimmings on each forearm. Unbleached cotton lining. Very slight patina to the felt, which has no major flaws. On the other hand, the gilded parts are very shiny. Good structural condition.
