Antique Console Table Sideboards from Howard & Sons, Set of 2

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning extremely rare pair of original, fully restored, early Victorian Mahogany Howard & Son’s Berners Street large console tables with twin drawers in the Georgian taste. This is a very interesting pair, size wise they would have been made for a grand stately home, they are taller than the norm from the period. Made in the Georgian taste with tapered legs finishing in a spade foot, bow fronted and with traditional round handles. The right drawer is stamped with the serial number and finished inside with the Howard and Son’s LTD Berners Street plaque on both tables Condition wise the pair have been restored by my French polisher, he has washed them back and French polished them from the ground up being sure to keep all the period patination. One of the drawer ring handles is missing but each drawer has two so you don’t really need it Dimensions Height:- 92m Width:- 122cm Depth:- 55cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
