carved wood frame that has been gilt with a gold finish. The frame is structurally intact but the backing shows age and wear. I will put a new backing on the mirror for you if you like. The frame itself has rosettes on each corner and exudes classic American design. The mirror has signs of age, which are difficult to photograph properly – there is some clouding and areas of antiqued spots.
