Bauhaus Chrome Tubular Sofa with Drawer attributed to Hynek Gottwald, 1930s

Rare to find fold-out tubular chrome sofa with original drawer. The sofa has been completely restored – wooden parts, original chrome polished, new cushions and high quality upholstery. The upholstery is designed to comfortably create a double bed when the sofa is folded out. One cushion is attached to the sofa bottom and one piece matrace is moved on the drawer in the same height. Three designed cushions can be easily stored inside the drawer.
This furniture piece will stand out in your interior and will also serve as ideal temporary yet comfortable double bed for your visitors. When folded out the width is 160 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
