Black taffeta evening coat with Christian Dior label Circa 1955-1960

Black taffeta evening kimono coat from the 1950’s. The lining and the label were changed in the 1980’s, possibly by the Dior House as the lining and label are original. Loose fit and flared with long sleeves and cuffs. Side slit pockets and large shawl collar in the back. Front closure with a black bakelite button. Note two white micro-dirtings (between 1 and 3 mm each) easily cleaned, and a needle hole in one pocket. No other defects, very resistant black taffeta, soft and light. Good general condition of colour and conservation.

Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 42-44. Height 122 cm, shoulders 50 cm, sleeves 53 cm, chest 95-105 cm, waist and hips 120 cm, amplitude bottom of the coat 168 cm.
