Dated circa early 1900’s the chair is a high quality item made from the finest oak and finished with a light varnish. Hand crafted the chair is solid, supportive and very heavy!
Typically called a altar or monks chair these were used in areas of the church where space was limited, allowing a single seat only.
This chair was originally from a Welsh chapel and is in excellent condition. Ideal for a modern home the chair is comfortable and yet compact. A real statement piece for any home.
