Large and elegant Louis XIII Style armchair in stained beech.
The backrest and seat are made of cane and the barrel is square.
The armrests are 75 cm high and are decorated with scrolls. The backrest frame and legs are twisted and the upper part is decorated with a sculpture of a child holding garlands of buds and still life, echoing the ornaments on the front legs.
The perimeter of the seat is decorated with a decorative frieze.
Early 20th century period.
In perfect condition following restoration. Professionally stripped and waxed.
