Pair of 1950s Polychrome Bone Carving Depicting a Grasshopper & Cabbage

Fine pair polychrome bone carving depicting a grasshopper & cabbage. Pair is an opposite matching pair. Finely carved and painted in realistic colors. Carvings sit on a raised cloth base. I believe they are Asian in origin. Measures each 6” long, 1 ¾” thick and 2 ¼” high.
