Pair of Collectible 1940s leather shoes with red wooden wedge heel

Rare pair of collectible shoes in mint condition with red painted wooden wedge heels, dating from the 1940s. Original hazelnut brown gloss leather upper with red laces, with shop label. Cream vinyl lining and sole with numbers 16815. This pair of shoes comes from the stock of a shop in the South West of France which remained closed for over 60 years. Presented with its original cardboard box. Noted size 38 under the wooden heels. No defects. Excellent colour and condition.

Dimensions: size 38 France corresponding to a 37-36 today. Length 24 cm, vamp 16 cm. Back heel height 8 cm, front heel height 2 cm.
