From the back of the Comédie Française, a spectacular Renaissance period ensemble consisting of a doublet and breeches. Pale grey leather bottom with raspberry satin ribs, trimmed with gold metal buttons. Cream cotton lining with quilted shoulder panels. Breeches with mauve velvet back and button fly. Handwritten mention Don Manoel Olayo, conservatoire. Soiling, minor damage and scuffed leather. Average but stable condition, presentable as is.
Dimensions: Equivalent to men’s size 50. Blazer: shoulders 44 cm, chest 104 cm, waist 96 cm, height 63 cm, sleeves 67 cm. Breeches: waist 96 cm, height 39 cm.
