Vintage Design
Mogens Koch designed the folding chair in 1932 reinterpreting the traditional folding stool archetype by pairing easy folding functionality with modern aesthetics – but they are not put into full production before the 1960s. The combination of good design, combined with excellent work from the cabinetmakers will immediately catch the attention of anyone who see them. This two stools are from the 60s,with new black linen. The stools come from the estate of architect Axel Thygesen (1927-1976) and his wife Anne Lise Thygesen (1926-2016).
