A sleek and streamlined writing piece, the Model 36 desk by Severin Hansen from 1958 has become an iconic piece of the Danish Modern period, one of Hansen’s most highly sought-after designs. The desk features four lockable ultra big drawers – 65 cm deep with two brass keys enclosed. The rich teak veneer has a beautiful open grain. The surface was precisely cleaned and re-oiled without disturbing the underlying patina other then this all parts original with two keys provided. The quality of the desk is above reproach, with tight and almost seamless joints and tidy construction.
