Vintage Oval Gold Wall Mirror

This lovely Vintage Oval Gold Wall Mirror is a generously sized 30″ W x 40″ H x 1.5″ D. It looks at home in a foyer, hall, or over a piece of furniture. I believe it is a molded wood product base with an antique gold paint finish. The scrolled leaf and flower border is punctuated with four shell motifs at the top, bottom, and sides of the oval shape. It is wired on the back to hang vertically, but could be rewired to hang horizontally.

This mirror hung on my grandparent’s wall for decades in South Dakota and has hung on my wall for 20 years. On the back there appears to be two square patches from a “Viking” brand paper bag. Other than the tired paper mirror backing, the mirror front is in good condition.
