This vintage parchment table is a piece of design furniture designed by Aldo Tura (attributed) in the 1950s. Elegant rectangular table made of wood and parchment. Exquisite exemplary of the high quality and refined craftsmanship of Tura, drawn from Art Deco inspiration and focused on handcrafted furniture made from rich materials in superb finish. Dimensions: cm 101 x 41 x 101. In good condition, except for some stains on the parchment. These signs of wear do not compromise the beauty of this rare table. Aldo Tura (1909-1963), the ”master of the parchment”, was a famous Italian designer. His name is linked to the splendid mid-century tables and lamps, where he combined elements from Art Deco and Art Nouveau with a minimalist and personal design. He often used unusual materials such as parchment, eggshell, goatskin and even wheels. His works are synonymous with classic and timeless design, first-rate craftsmanship and furniture with a unique character.
