It is without doubt the most famous wall unit of the Danish modern era. Cadovius started his own company Royal System in 1945 and came up with the idea for his &#8221;Royal System Shelving Unit&#8221; in 1948. It was this idea of building a storage solution with maximized floor space and a modular construction that made him one of the most recognized designers of Danish Mid-Century Modern design.
