Vintage Design
Two Rococo style giltwood corner consoles, carved with naturalistic, voluptuous flowing foliage and scrolls. The console table reached the height of fashion in France during the Louis XV period. The design of the foot and the belt alternates curves and counter curves that give this set a fluid movement. Each console is topped by an opulent marble top, circa 1850. The consoles are slightly different and one is smaller than the other: Dimension: 1 L 51 cm, P 51 cm, H 77 cm/ dimension: W 20.1 in, D 20.1 in, H 30.3 in. Dimension: 2 L 47 cm, P 47 cm, H 77 cm.
